Aviation = back on track

Aviation = Back on track   – Seems the business is picking up. In the last 6 month we had a lot of interesting businessdeals in Central Europe and our close cooperation with various banks and clients from our membercountries showed that the market starts to speed up. The decision to hold the CEPA EXPO in december will enable us to have better details on the very important year 2011. For me, as the founder of CEPA it will be an interesting startup of a very important event at the HUB of Central Europe, this it is just a beginning and we are certain that in the following years we will see something that will be different from many other conferences. We, in CEPA, want to focus on the essential things in business aviation. We worked a lot on bringing our philosophy into the market to help and support wherever we can. Our position and goal is to be on the front and to serve as an organisation exchanging experience and support. In the past 12 month we received many important mails and visits but also people approached us who were very interested in being member – still some of them  wanted to wait , where the organisation will go. There is always a beginning and it is important to start something, if all of us would just wait where the market would go nothing would move. For me the difference between winning and succeeding is that succeeding means one tried to set up something and succeeded. CEPAEXPO is about starting up and succeeding with the help of everybody who is believing that it is important. Jiri Matousek, the actual Chairman does a great job and i am certain that he will lead CEPA to a successful period of achieving all  its goals. dg

Tribute to POLO ……and what is so similar to aviation

First of all, I love Polo, I love to watch Polo, I adore to play Polo, for me it is the best sport ever.

Last weekend I attended a polo event in Budapest. And it was simply perfect. It is the atmosphere, the people the horses and way people talk to each other full of respect and harmony.

The sport itself, for those who do not know the rules in details. It is really comparable to running an aviation company.

You have the team (your employees) then you have the horse (the industry) while there are opponents (competitors) outside and the goal is to hit a goal (get the deal).

While everything moves you have to be sure to hit the ball in the right moment, not before and not after, otherwise no hit :-). The horse has to go in your direction and the team has to position itself in the right place. While you think the point is on your side and you are ready to hit the goal, the game turns and your opponents are heading towards their target. So go ahead and get the ball back on a fast moving dangerous horse, that if not under control kick you off and the game continues without you.

It is good to play polo and then before one goes to bed one round majong and all the competitors will have to worry. This post is dedicated to Uwe and Christina, Luca Labatt (6 goals), to Dita and Achim and Michael and Julio, the best polo player in the world.

security is important!!!!!

The advantage of private flying is, that you still keep your honor, sometimes, and that you can change the passengers and take as much luggage as you can and change the passenger names just a minute before going to the plane. That is what we are fighting for you <<<<
